Jeffrey M. Robinson is a sound and visual artist from Chicago. His visual work has been shown at the David Leonardis Gallery, the Art Club of Chicago and the Select Media Festival. A public art installation " Pools of Light" was funded by a grant from the City of Chicago Cultural Affairs Dept. and the Illinois Arts Council. He has collaborated on audio projects with Fred Lonberg Holm, Azita, Mark Greenberg, Warren Lowman, Mark Shippy, Matthew Carson,and Lindsay Anderson. Recording locations include: The Metropolitan Museum in NY, The Guggenheim Museum in NY, PS1 Contemporary Art Center in NY, The MCA in Chicago, The Getty Museum in LA, The Andy Warhol Museum in Pitssburgh, The Pompidou Center in Paris, The Art Center Berlin and The Woodstock Opera House. Site recordings include The Brooklyn Bridge and Joshua Tree National Park. A sound and film installation " East West" was recently presented at The German Cultural Center in Chicago.
